Prime Info

Legal information

Legal notice

Purpose of the website

Prime Info provides an independent comparison tool for compulsory Swiss health-insurance premiums and a document-preparation service. It is neither an official Swiss Confederation website nor an insurer’s website. Premiums and information shown are based, among other sources, on data published by the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH).

Scope of information

Results are indicative and depend on the data and settings entered. They are not legal, tax or insurance advice, nor a contractual offer. Check terms, premiums and deadlines with the relevant insurer before making a decision. Users must review, sign and send generated documents. Supplementary insurance is not cancelled by a letter relating to compulsory health insurance.

Liability

Prime Info takes reasonable steps to keep information current and the website available. It cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness or uninterrupted availability of the website. To the extent permitted by law, Prime Info accepts no liability for damage arising from use or unavailability of the website or decisions based on its content.

Third-party links and content

Third-party links are provided for convenience. Prime Info has no control over those sites and accepts no responsibility for their content, availability or data processing.

Intellectual property

The website’s content, structure and design are protected by applicable law. Reproduction, modification or distribution outside private or legally permitted use requires prior consent from Prime Info or the relevant rights holder.

Applicable law

Swiss law applies. Subject to mandatory provisions, the courts at the registered office of Prime Info AG have exclusive jurisdiction.

Privacy policy

Controller

Prime Info AG is the controller for the processing described here. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, write to hello@prime-info.ch or contact us at the address above.

Data we process

We process data you submit through the comparison tool or contact forms, including contact details, comparison data (postcode, location, age or date of birth, deductible, model, accident cover and current insurer), document-preparation data (address, insurer choice, household information and effective date), message content, ordinary technical data and consent preferences.

Please do not send health data through the contact form.

Purposes and legal grounds

We use the data to provide the comparison tool, prepare requested documents, answer messages, maintain security and operation, and meet legal obligations. Depending on the case, processing is based on your request, consent, pre-contractual measures, legitimate interests or a legal obligation.

Recipients and sharing

Form and dossier data, together with the generated PDF documents, are transmitted to Prime Info through technical providers acting on our behalf, including our automation service Make. We do not sell personal data, and the comparison tool does not automatically send your dossier to an insurer.

International transfers

Technical providers may process data outside Switzerland or the EEA. Where that occurs, we ensure that a recognised level of protection or appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, are in place.

Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described, then delete or anonymise it, subject to legal retention requirements or the need to defend our rights. Form data is kept for as long as needed to handle and follow up on your request.

Cookies and analytics

The website uses Google Analytics to understand usage and improve operation. Non-essential technologies are activated only after your choice in the consent banner, where available. You can change or withdraw consent there at any time. Refusal does not prevent use of the comparison tool.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, and delivery of certain data in a common format. You may withdraw consent for the future at any time and lodge a complaint with the competent authority, including the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

Security and updates

We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards against unauthorised access, loss and misuse. This policy may change as our services or applicable law change. The version published here prevails.
