Your insurer switch,
all in one place.

Prime Info brings comparison and administrative preparation together in one journey. Move at your own pace, without appointments or needing an insurance adviser.

  1. 01

    Calculate your premiums

Enter each person's current insurer, your place of residence and household members. The calculator finds premiums for your situation.

  2. 02

    See your savings

Compare your current cost with available offers and immediately see potential monthly and annual savings.

  3. 03

    Prepare your registration

Choose an insurer that suits the whole family. Prime Info uses your details to prepare the registration request.

  4. 04

    Create your cancellation

One letter is generated for each current insurer, containing only the relevant people. You only need to check, sign and send them.

The site compares and prepares the documents. You keep the final decision and send the letters yourself. You no longer need an adviser to complete these steps.

Our expertise

Basic insurance (LAMal)

Compulsory health insurance (LAMal) is basic health insurance required for everyone living or working in Switzerland. Benefits are the same across all health insurers.

Supplementary insurance

In Switzerland, LAMal covers basic healthcare costs but has some gaps. Supplementary insurance lets you extend cover to suit your needs.

Family doctor

With the family-doctor model, you receive a premium discount while keeping the same benefits as basic insurance. Your doctor coordinates your care.

Hospital insurance

Private or semi-private hospital supplementary insurance extends compulsory health-insurance reimbursements during hospital stays.

Prenatal insurance

Prenatal insurance is taken out before a child's birth. It may include LAMal basic insurance and supplementary insurance for a newborn without a medical questionnaire.

Travel & repatriation

Ongoing travel insurance can cover medical costs, medical repatriation, emergency hospital stays, and search and rescue costs in Switzerland and abroad.

Same benefits.
Different premiums.

Insurance premiums vary from one insurer to another, even for identical benefits. Comparing basic-insurance premiums can help you find lower-cost insurance for the same benefits.

Before comparing, gather your insurance policies, health-care model and current deductible. The calculator helps estimate potential savings and request an offer.

Understand before you switch

01

What should I do if I want to switch insurers?

Contact our administrative team on 058 590 63 63 or use the website form. A Prime Info partner will contact you to arrange a free initial consultation and assess your needs.

02

Can I switch if I have health issues?

Anyone insured under LAMal may freely switch basic insurers. Supplementary insurance is subject to a medical questionnaire when applying.

03

Why consider switching?

Switching may be worthwhile if your premium no longer fits your budget or your cover no longer suits your needs. Prime Info reviews your policies and explains the benefits and limits of a possible change.

04
